I'm still alive in event #8 (but less than average chips), but i did bust out of #9 quick (54 mins!!) so here's a quick recap.
Starting stacks=2500. I want to play aggressive in a field this large and try to get some chips. That's the plan anyway. All my big hands are against 2 players. But first here's a hand that sets up my first hand a bit. 14th hand dealt of the day.

Total pot 2260 | Rake 0
Board [9h 5d Th 4d 6d]
Seat 1: wineguytx (big blind) mucked [Ts Kd]
I play a hand against King Charles in 2 hands. here he called decent sized bets on the flop and turn with the bottom end of a straight draw and a flush draw he has no part of also out there. Then he hit his straight when a backdoor flush draw came through and bet a bit more than 1/2 the pot on the river. That seemed like a bet designed to coax a call.
The next hand I get JJ in the BB and raise pot after 4 limpers, 1 of them calls. Then i pot bet a flop with an Ace in it and take it down. Then I play a big one against King Charles when I am in the SB.

OK. Preflop: I reraise to hope to define his hand a bit, but I'm not sure what his call gives me.
Flop: I'm not sure why I did this really, its a pretty odd play with a few draws out there. I just wanted to see how he reacted to it. I figures he would call with a draw and raise with a made hand.
Turn: The card is great as I have him on a draw and now I can bet pot and he should fold. He has to think I have something here, right?
River: The Ace turns out to be the worst possible card for me, but I thought it was good. I check like I'm afraid my KK just got rocked. He bets pot quickly. It seems to me like its designed to strongarm me out. I'm not sure he can put me on AQ, which is about the only worse hand that will call, but I don't know if he is even thinking about that. So figure AK is possible, as well as other hands that kick my ass, but so is a bluff or possible a weaker Ace. I played my hand trying to deceive him but it did me no good and I think I played it pretty badly. But I thought he would bet less if tryig to coax a call. It's not he was going to fold if I reraised that, so why bet so much? Now I have just 440 chips and need to get chips.

Once I got raised I knew I was in trouble with no folding equity and 12 outs (which isn't bad at all) at best but I figured I had to take the shot for more chips. A flush draw came through for me. 1 more double up and I'm in business. I can tell genoa wants to take me down.
Next orbit comes this hand:
Dealt to Me [Ad Kh]

That was pretty straightforward. See how bad he wants to bust me. And I'm back baby.
I stay pretty steady for a while. Then I butt heads with genoa again when I am in the BB.
Dealt to Me [Qc Kh]

*** SHOW DOWN ***
Me: shows [Qc Kh] (two pair, Queens and Deuces)
genoa_st: shows [Qd Ad] (two pair, Queens and Deuces - Ace kicker)
genoa_st collected 3100 from pot
Preflop: Why raise?? Not sure I guess I wanted to see where the limpers were at. But I hate playing pots OOP so why do it here fpr more money? Oh well.
Flop: Top pair, 2nd kicker. I like my hand. When he reraises i figure he just needed a piece of the flop as he wants to bust me. I only fear AQ or a set here and I figure his range is much wider given our history. But he has AQ and I am in trouble again with just 280 chips.
The very next hand:
Dealt to Me [Ac Ks]
crazechck: folds
genoa_st: calls 30
Boosted J: folds

Not a whole lot to think about there.
My last hand is #66 of the tourney. Again I get dealt a great hand preflop. And I again battle King Charles.
Dealt to Me [Ad Kd]
wineguytx: folds
Me: raises 45 to 75
Camm: folds
crazechck: folds
genoa_st: folds
Boosted J: folds
check_kills: folds
King Charles: calls 60

King Charles: calls 385
*** RIVER *** [Kh Jh 2s Ah] [5d]
*** SHOW DOWN ***
King Charles: shows [Ts Qs] (a straight, Ten to Ace)
Me: shows [Ad Kd] (two pair, Aces and Kings)
King Charles collected 1240 from pot
Again, pretty straightforward.
I got involved a lot with decent to great hands and just got rocked. I don't think I played great, but I tried to make good decisions and seemed to hit great flops when I had few chips and got boards that I thought were good for me, but ended up better for others when I had lots of chips. That's a recipe for disaster without feeling like the cards were so cold for you.
Ok, more later tonight after I bust from the HORSE tourney (Just lost a 3k pot in the holdem segment, flopped flush over flopped flush)
